A farm at the edge of the forest, and a ride to the river.
If you are in Vitina, or in the villages nearby, take a ride with the horses in the fir forest of Elati. At the entrance to the village you will meet Christos, who left the city to make a place of his own there.
He carves the wood he finds in the forest into furniture, in a workshop beside the farm, and keeps fifteen horses and three mules. They are calm and used to people.

Ask for the river.
Ask Christos to take you down to the river, and to the swing. It is the ride people remember.
Call ahead to arrange a time. Rides depend on the weather and on the season, and on snowy days the forest is quieter still.
