Old Vitina, a short gorge and a stone bridge.
This is a short section, a pause between the long walks of Elati–Vitina and Vitina–Magouliana. It links Vitina with the village of Nymfasia.
You walk 850 m on the road from Vitina to Old Vitina, the settlement the town grew from, which has been brought back to life.

02 The route
A gorge, a bridge and a spring.
After the old village the path leads to Mavra Litharia, where the river forms a short but striking gorge, with a small rest area.
Next comes the bridge of Tzavaraina, a solid stone arch over the Mylaontas that joins Vitina to the western villages of Gortynia. Past the Vrysoula spring, the path ends at Nymfasia, a small and lively neighbour of Vitina.
